A DJ and avid vinyl collector since the early 1990’s, Ricky has honed the art of building the atmosphere in a room as an artist for many years playing a range of electronic music from chill out through to main room house and electronica..
Ricky currently lives in Margate and alongside Colin Welsh they produce the Solarwaves electronic music events. Recent notable points include a short film for the Margate Film Festival with performed live electronic score, supporting Faithless at Dreamland, Margate with a live AV set.
Solarwaves events also feature in the summer months at The Sun Deck, a unique beach side open air venue. Over the years Ricky has played across Europe including DC10, Privilege and Pete Tong’s Wonderland in Ibiza to Tribal Sessions and Pacha London with Circoloco.
As an electronic music scene curator Ricky’s groundbreaking events have melted together music, art and film into a multi sensory journey. Ricky also writes and produces his own music as orchardXCI available from Bandcamp.
